Digital Industrial Printing

The situation in this segment is difficult, but no real catastrophe has yet occurred. The reason for the problems is clear: the overwhelming number of suppliers of digital printing systems, especially professional ones, have always stated that the use of toner, ink, or paint from third-party manufacturers is unacceptable, as it will lead to equipment failure, subsequent repairs of which will be carried out at the expense of the owner.

And quite recently, it was impossible to imagine that delays in the supply of consumables could arise for any of the multinational global corporations, the reliability of which no one had ever doubted.

Finding alternative consumables for high-performance digital printing equipment, especially full-color, and even working with additional colors, is challenging. But, according to one of the Russian representatives of a not-very-small foreign company, they “closing their eyes with one hand, can show with the other where today they can purchase an alternative coloring material until the situation stabilizes.”

The situation is much more complicated in cases where there are no alternative solutions on the market. Certain efforts, for which there is still reason to hope for a positive outcome, are now being made by the Russian distributor of one of the large multinational corporations.

As expected, the situation with the supply of existing alternative options and consumables for printing equipment from China and Taiwan is still more optimistic.

Printed banners and other traditional ways of promoting a business

In business and marketing, there are so many ways to promote a product or service that it can take time to decide which one to choose. There are traditional methods, such as printed banners and flyers, but there are also newer, more high-tech options, such as online banner ads and social media promotion.

Benefits Of Print Advertising

Despite the high popularity of digital marketing, printing remains an effective form of advertising. Its advantages:

Duration Of Exposure.

Print advertising is produced on tangible media to influence a potential client for a long time. Sometimes, on purpose, and sometimes by accident, people store printing for a long time. For example, leaflets handed out on the street take a long time to forget to throw away. Thanks to this, they periodically flash before the eyes and, thus, remind a person of the company.

People spend the longest time in contact with wall and desk calendars or magnets: advertising on such media is constantly in view.

Target By Interests.

Many magazines and newspapers are designed for a narrow target audience: hunters, fishermen, animal lovers, athletes, or adherents of a healthy lifestyle. Such publications advertise products that interest the audience: fishing and hunting accessories, pet products, and sports equipment.

Most publications have online versions, but print advertising allows you to reach an audience used to reading physical newspapers or magazines.

Narrow Geographic Targeting.

Print advertising is often distributed directly to consumers. For example, they hand out promotional materials on the street. This allows you to narrow your geographic target to the residents of a specific house or entrance.

A company that operates in a specific city or region can advertise through local media.

Situational.

Some advertisements work better if they are seen in the right situation.

If a user sees an advertisement for a restaurant on the Internet, he is likely to wait to visit it. Rather, he will leave the link in his bookmarks and forget it. If a restaurant hangs a large banner in the shopping center in which it is located, then a person who is hungry after shopping will be more likely to come in for a bite to eat.

An Audience That Is Not On The Internet.

There are audience segments for which print advertising works better than online. For example, the Moscow Longevity Project is designed for retirees. They rarely use the Internet. Therefore, the program is advertised using leaflets on bulletin boards at entrances.…
